About Me

Welcome…

Photo taken by my cousin Lizzie

I’m a writer who has many varied interests. I love singing, reading, meditation, exercise and much more. I mostly write news articles, reviews and blog posts about pop culture. I’m also a fiction writer who is working on short stories for a book with my husband (CP Bialois) and participated in NaNoWriMo for the first time this year, winning with a little over 50,000. My NaNo novel is called “The Life and Times of No One in Particular” and will be going into editing in December. I have also started getting a little into photography lately.. I’m just having fun catching shots out and about. Who knows where that will lead…

  1. Hi Jamie! When I saw the photo you took of the sparrow, I smiled, because I have taken a few – but some in particular that I got at the Knoxville Zoo last August. I put together a slide show on my blog to show some of the photos I got that day (it was my first time using all manual settings). A few sparrows (near the end of the slide show) captured my attention, as you will see. The zoo was great fun, but disappointing in that many of the exhibits were either behind glass (very finger smudged) or wire. That was the day I learned that one thing a photographer must always have with him/her: glass cleaner! Would have made some of my meerkat photos much better – also the African penguins! Oh well – you learn something every day! Anyway – here’s the link to the post with the slide show:

No hurry or obligation, BTW – only if you are so inclined or have the time!
